Enbridge Famous 5 Speaker Night with Rosalind Prober
Wednesday, November 21, 2012
Before 1996, Canadians were not held accountable for sexual crimes against children while in a foreign country. Rosalind Prober chose to change the law, and in 1996 the “Prober Amendment” was legislated. That same year, Rosalind and Canadian Mark Eric Hecht founded Beyond Borders, a French/English not for profit devoted to advancing children’s rights, worldwide.
For her efforts, Rosalind received the Order of Canada in 2010.
Rosalind will share how we as individuals and businesses can fight child sexual exploitation through social responsibility measures.
